THIS IS MY JOURNEY
Hello, my name is Miranda Chism, and I am the creator and founder of She's M.O.R.E. , a platform for women to discover a personal spiritual connection with God to build a spiritually healthy mindset. No, I am no ones spiritual guru. I am just a woman from the country who took some turns in life that lead to many setbacks because I did not understand how to live life spiritually.
She's M.O.R.E. with M.O.R.E. standing for Marvelous, Outstanding, Remade, and Empowered is a way for me to connect with women like myself, feeling spiritually lost. There is a contemporary Christian music group, Tenth Avenue North, whose song "You are More" played on the radio. During this time I had recently lost my mother and I started working as a teacher. The transitions were heavy.
The lyrics of the song resonated with me:
" You are more than the choices that you've made.
You are more than the sum of your past mistakes.
You are more than the problems you create.
You've been remade."
And here is where the vision of She's M.O.R.E. began. I wanted every girl and every woman to be remade. I wanted them as well as myself to know we could be more than what our past has shown us.
We are who we desire to be and too often we let others and ourselves tell us we are not enough. Guess what? We are more than enough and we need to do the mental work to understand that.
Everyone is on a journey in their lives. Our journey in life will come with many trials and obstacles. It's a journey of emotions and learned lessons. While on the journey there will be circumstances out of our control, yet thankfully there will be many we will control.
This blog will be dedicated to journaling the personal experiences that will occur specifically while I'm on my journey. It is a way to connect with other ladies who want to be unapologetically their authentic true selves. I'm on the journey to be more than my own eyes can see. And I want to take you with me! So let's Embrace this Journey. I'm sure it will be a bumpy ride.
